It all started at 10: 30 sharp! Following an exciting countdown which left more than 500 000 visitors enthused about the inaugural festivities, the pyrotechnic show lingered beautifully alongside the bay of Jounieh leaving a sparkling reflection in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. In the heart of the Bay of Jounieh, and on board of a cruise ship, the committee members of Jounieh International Festival hosted a bouquet of personalities and prominent figures from the Media and the economic and social sectors.
Professionals, amateurs and talented photographers also rushed to participate in the yearly photo contest to catch the most sparking and awesome moments of the inauguration and win valuable prizes.
The enchanting night brought joy and happiness to the citizens and guests who gathered across the coastline and city squares to confirm their determination to join the buzz of the upcoming international concerts:
- On Saturday, July 16, the legendary Argentinian pianist, Raul Di Blasio, accompanied by the brilliant Lebanese musician, Michel Fadel.
- The international star, Jason Derulo, will rock his fans during a vigorous musical concert on Monday, July 18.
