The 30-year-old actress was granted a temporary restraining order, which meant that the 52-year-old actor was to stay 100 yards away from her. A settlement was finally reached a couple of days ago. The court has ordered Johnny Depp to make a one-time payment of $7 million to Amber Heard. Immediately after, Amber announced that she would be donating the entire sum to charity: "As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves.” The $7 million will be split between the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.
