1) Use the right kind of hangers
We love the skinny velvet ones that take as little space as possible and have a no-slice grip on clothing.
2) Donate clothes which you haven’t worn this year
If you have not worn a clothing item in the past 12 months, say good-bye!
3) Similar items stored next to each other
Separate your t-shirts, dress shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, and jeans into categories. If you also want everything to be visually pleasing, then color-coding would be the next step.
4) Use dividers in your drawer
Instead of having everything free floating around, use dividers to keep things organized. This is especially helpful for accessories and jewelry.
5) Use clear shoe boxes
You should be able to see all the shoes that you own. Use clear shoe boxes in order to store your shoes. If this is not an option, then tape a picture of the shoe outside its box so that you know what’s inside. This will make finding a pair of shoes very easy.
6) Use every cm of your closet
Customizing the space that you have and utilizing it is key to keeping all your belongings organized. Add a shelf on top of your rack to store your handbags, or add cubbies in order to store your handbags.
7) Have good lighting
Lighting allows you to see what you have better. Seeing things properly is one of the most important parts to keeping your closet your organized.
