A “vintage” technique!
Draping was born in the 70’s thanks to Way Brandy, the famous makeup artist of Farah Fawcett, Cher, Catherin Deneuve and Elizabeth Taylor. The principle? To highlight the face with blush. How? By following the natural bone structure of the face without using a brush, for a total natural look. The trend today has gotten a bit of a 21st century makeover. The use of a brush has become essential for draping in 2016. Today, the trend lies somewhere between contouring and strobing but with the use of blush. Choose the color that looks best on your complexion, stay away from the super pigmented blushes and opt for products that can be build up with a light hand. “Drape” the natural shape of the face and sculpt away with soft shades of pink and orange to give your face a natural glow.
