The American University of Beirut graduate’s invention allows users to create free hanging structures (like bridges) and other complex structures in an efficient manner with minimal material waste, a problem that exists with other 3D printers currently in use.
During the eighth season of Stars of Science, nine candidates were challenged to develop creative solutions to regional problems within the fields of information technology, energy, environment, and health. One winner will be selected on November 19 based on online voting and jury deliberation. Finalists vie for a share of a $600,000 price as seed funding.
