This is probably the last blog post for November, which means December is almost here and so are Christmas and the holidays. So, have you finished Christmas shopping? Have you started? Or has your home turned into something out of the North Pole?
If you’re anything like my family and I, we absolutely love Christmas and all the joy it brings along with it. This is the time of year where I learn and try new dessert recipes, I spend most of the days listening (and singing along) to carols and absolutely love the buzz of the shopping malls and decorated streets. But it’s also my time to reflect on the last year and all the blessings it brought along with it. I make it a point to thank the Lord for one thing every day during the month of December. It just helps me to stay grounded, thankful and appreciative.
So I just thought I’d pass that little tip to you. Make a list (and check it twice), of all the things you are thankful for. Not only will it uplift your spirits when you think you are unlucky, but seeing the good that often comes your way unnoticed, is simply good for your soul.
