It’s not a big surprise to hear about the Lebanese singer Hiba Tawaji reaching international levels. Her unique talent, her well-mastered vocal techniques, and her excellent performance in every work she offers have now earned her the international stage.
And so it happened that Walt Disney has selected her to cast her voice on the character of “Yasmine” in the French version of the new Aladdin movie.
Early this month, Tawaji contentedly announced the news to her fans on her social media platforms, including Twitter, where she posted a photo of her and the cover of the Aladdin movie.
“I have a nice surprise to announce to you! I’m happy to lend my voice (spoken and sung) to Jasmine for the French version of the new movie Aladdin,” she tweeted, announcing the date of the movie’s release to be May 22.
Speaking to a local media source bisara7a, Tawaji confirmed that she will cast her voice on the character of “Yasmine”. She also declared that a new song was written for her character under the title “Speechless” for the English version and “Parler” for the French version.
