When you are looking for high quality, natural-looking lashes, always look for ones that are carefully hand crafted using the finest sourced mink hairs. They should boast superior softness, durability and quality, making them suitable for more than 10 uses.
But beautiful lashes are pointless if you can’t apply them properly, right? Luckily we’ve put together a lash application guide to get your skills up to par!
Handle with care
Although durable, false lashes are delicate and should be gently removed from their packaging with tweezers. Always handle the lashes from the cotton band and avoid pulling the individual lashes. This will prolong their durability.
Measure & Trim
It’s not a good look when your lashes overhang and peel up from the corners. Trimming your lashes will ensure they are the perfect size for your eyes. Measure the lash band by holding it against your natural lash line, and trim from the outer corner.
Before you apply
Coat your natural lashes with mascara prior to applying the falsies. If your lashes are naturally straight, use an eyelash curler so they blend in nicely when your false lashes are applied.
Holding the lash by the outer corner with tweezers, apply a layer of lash glue to the cotton band. Carefully place the lashes on the top of your natural lash line, ensuring the band lines up with the placement of your natural eyelashes. Adjust the position where necessary and gently press down with your fingertips to secure.
Before removing your lashes, use a cotton tip to lightly dab water or oil-free eye makeup remover on the cotton band to soften the glue. Lightly tug on the outer tip of the cotton band with tweezers and gently lift off. Always handle your lashes from the cotton band, pulling on individual lashes can cause additional shedding. After each use of the lashes, make sure all excess lash glue is removed from the band with a gentle eye makeup remover.
Never soak lashes in water or any other product as this can ruin the shape and curl of the lashes. Store in a specially designed lash case. Do not use mascara or other lash products on the false lashes – use these products on your natural lashes prior to application
