Gucci Pulls ‘Black Face Sweater’ After Accusations of Racism

Iconic fashion brand Gucci abruptly pulled their ‘Balaclava Knit Top Black’ from stores, apologizing to shoppers over widespread complaints the apparel resembled “black face” make-up.
“Gucci deeply apologizes for the offense caused by the wool balaclava jumper. We consider diversity to be a fundamental value to be fully upheld, respected, and at the forefront of every decision we make,” posted Gucci on social media.
