Lebanon Pays Tribute to Revolution Martyr Alaa Abou Fakher

The Lebanese people mourned the loss of Alaa Abou Fakher, the revolution martyr who was shot and killed during a dispute in Khalde on November 12, 2019.

Candlelight vigils took place across the country, where thousands came together to pay their respect for the father-of-three.

In Saida, protestors spelled out Alaa’s name with their bodies while holding up flashlights.

While in Tripoli a portrait of Alaa Abou Fakhr was drawn by Ghayath al Rawbeh, a Palestinian refugee.
