Hamed, a 20-year-old business student at Hult Business School in London, was representing Egypt at the 68th edition of Miss Universe annual International beauty pageant, which took place in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA. This is the 36th time that the United States has hosted the Miss Universe competition. At the end of the event, Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe 2019 by former Miss Universe Catriona Gray as the third South African woman to win the title. This year, ninety candidates from countries and territories from all over the world participated to win the Miss Universe title in a competition in which a new crown executed by Mouawad jewelry worth 5 million dollars was used.
Diana Hamed appeared in dresses by Saudi Designer Elham El Youssef, from the collection of “palm brides” that the designer launched recently at Beirut Fashion Week. Three appearances in which Hamed caught the attention. Designer EL Youssef won the title of best Saudi fashion designer for the year 2019.
