If you still haven’t locked in your travel plans for 2019 then push Corralejo, in Spain, right to the top of your list. That’s where you’ll find the adorable and appropriately named ‘Popcorn Beach’, where the sand resembles, you guessed it, popcorn. The beach is located at the end of a dirt track north of Corralejo and isn’t really well known as one of the must-visit places for swimming or sunbathing. That’s because as pretty as those popcorn looking pebbles are they bloody hurt to walk on. While the beach has been around for, well, pretty much forever, it’s only recently been garnering a whole lot of attention due to people posting playful images of themselves pretending to eat the sand.
