Summer days

Summer is in full swing in Lebanon and the theaters, concerts, village fairs, beach parties and museums have their programs spread throughout August for endless days and nights of summer fun. The streets are bustling with people, the Lebanese who are here from abroad have filled the hotels. Will you be visiting us this summer? Shakira already did!

From Tyre and Byblos to Baalbek and Beiteddine, the festivals are well underway. Baalbek in August will be featuring Matthieu Chedid, Georges Khabbaz, Jahida Wehbe & Elie Maalouf and Ben Harper. Beiteddine will be hosting Cirkopolis By Cirque Eloize. The Chainsmokers will take the Byblos stage by storm on August 1st. In Tyre, the festivals include performances by Assi Hellani and Arina Domski.

Let’s not forget Beirut! From August 2nd to August 10th, Beirut Holidays will present a series of concerts and shows in the heart of Beirut Souks. The capital of Beirut features Elissa, Wael Kfoury, Nancy Ajram, Nassif Zeytoun and a special show where Michel Fadel Meets the GIPSY KINGS.

Souk el Akel is also an event to look forward to. From Faraya and Balamand to Chekka and Jounieh, this relocating street food festival is always on the go. All you need to do is find out where they will be on a certain date, then enjoy the variety of delicious foods on offer.

The famed Sursock Museum in Beirut displays a large number of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural and historical importance as well as different installations and/or exhibitions daily.

One thing is sure, summer in Lebanon is marvelous! Only one piece of advice, DON’T MISS OUT!
